● Narrowed Research Question. In this section, you should identify your topic and question, demonstrate a general understanding of the topic, and articulate your goals for the project.
● Context: What is the background?
● Significance. In this section, you should address the question “So What? Who Cares?” Why does this topic/question matter to you? Why should it matter to anyone else?
● Organization: What overall structure will you use in your paper?
● Plan. Familiarize yourself with the work ahead, as described in these pages, and make a tentative timeline.
