Too Tired? Too Anxious? Need More Time? We’ve got your back.
Vitamin/Mineral PowerPoint Project
The purpose of this project is to better help you understand the different vitamins and minerals in our diet, ways to obtain them, recommendations for daily intake, benefits, deficiencies, and toxicities.
You are required to create a PowerPoint that is at minimum 5 slides in length (not including the title slide or reference slide). Utilize pictures and charts within the slides. Be creative! Your slides should have enough information to understand the point you are getting across without it being overwhelming. Since you are not required to dictate your PowerPoint, you will use the notes section on each slide for speaker notes.
Once you have your assigned vitamin/mineral, the following information is REQUIRED in the PowerPoint: VITAMIN E
Identify at minimum 10 food items high in this vitamin or mineral
List the RDA/AI/UL for the vitamin or mineral for all age groups
Discuss potential benefits of vitamin or mineral in the diet
Determine if there are toxic levels or deficiencies from the vitamin or mineral in discussion
Title Slide/Reference Slide. (Please use AMA reference citations)
