This is the beginning of a Masters level research project.
I need an annotated bibliography with 10-15 resources. I have several of them already but do not have all.
The Topic of the paper is:
What are the roles or functions of repetition for healing in art making?
Instructions for full project as follows ( I am only needing the Annotated Bibliography at this time):
Goals:
The student will work with faculty to complete an independent research project.
ART THERAPY, MFT AND/OR LPCC CONTENT AREAS ADDRESSED THROUGH THIS COURSE:
1. Students will integrate and apply art therapy theory, assessment, techniques and
standards of practice related to psychological changes which impact research with
individuals, families and groups in different settings applying a variety of art media in
therapy to support human development and growth.
2. Students will demonstrate through critical thinking and application, a working
knowledge of the advanced counseling and psychotherapeutic theories and
techniques, to develop knowledge of specific treatment issues, special populations,
application of counseling constructs, assessment, prognosis and treatment planning,
clinical interventions, therapeutic relationships, psychopathology, diagnosis, severe
mental disorders or other clinical topics.
3. Students will incorporate and reference evidence-based therapy models of treatment
and begin to understand how to integrate the principles of mental health recoveryoriented
care in practice environments which include evidence-based practices and
positive psychology.
Methodology:
The student will research an area of interest, and create an annotated bibliography (10-15
sources). The student will also create an art-based summary of the findings with an artist
statement about the work.
Annotations will take the form of 1-3 paragraph summary, 1-3 paragraph analysis/critique, 1-3
paragraph of relevance to ideas of interest.
