This final assignment mimics a typical funding application. Essentially, I want you to imagine that you are working for an anti-violence organization in Canada and you have a brilliant idea to reduce a particular type of violence that occurs in families. You will be asked to articulate the social issue/type of violence, define its prevalence or incidence, and put forward an original idea about how to reduce this type of violence. This initiative may be a community program, a piece of research, a series of public service announcements etc. You must specify how this program/initiative links to your understanding of how violence gains entry into families and you must have some mechanism that measures the outcomes. You will be given a pre-formatted application to complete. You must articulate how you believe this initiative will reduce “family” violence
