These are the two Promptsfor the essay.

Please type, double-space, use 11-12 point font size, and have 1” margins all around. Write a paper that responds to the prompt below. Your paper should have the following elements:
Introduction – (3-5 sentences) state your conclusion (this is your thesis statement) and your premises (2-4 claims that support your thesis) and any necessary context as briefly as possible. (Be sure to take a definitive stand one way or the other and defend that position as best as possible.)
Body – (2-4 paragraphs, one for each premise) clarify and support your premises. Explain how you know, or why you believe, the claims are true and how they lead to the conclusion you are making. Define your terms and make sure you have provided all the necessary and contextual information to fully understand the issue and your position.
Objections – (1 paragraph) How might someone object to your position? What are the strongest arguments against your position? Where are you most likely to find such objections?
Response – (1 paragraph) How do you respond to these objections? This should not be a repeat of your argument in part II.
Conclusion – (3-5 sentences) restate your thesis statement and argument without simply repeating your opening paragraph.
