This assignment is intended to help you learn to do the following:
Discuss the various offenses that are considered terrorism.
Discuss some of the unique challenges associated with combating terrorism.
Discuss the offenses that are considered organized crimes.
Overview
In this assignment, you are required to discuss how you will differentiate between a terrorist organization and another group who kills civilians in the name of counterterrorism. You are encouraged to use relevant examples to support your discussion. The first part of the assignment requires you to post your initial thoughts. The second part requires you to read what your classmates have posted and reply to at least two of their postings. Ensure that you cover all relevant information expected of you in the assignment. Use the rubric as a guide.
