Too Tired? Too Anxious? Need More Time? We’ve got your back.
Please write a comparison/contrast essay (noting both similarities and differences) based on the following prompt:
Great leaders have had an incredible impact on human history. Please select and compare and contrast two leaders from history, and use your analysis to argue which leader was more successful or effective in their role. These can be heads of state, military commanders, religious leaders, business executives, even team captains. It is highly recommended but not required that you pick two individuals of the same “type” – two military commanders, two executives, two head coaches, etc. You may select relatively recent individuals, such as comparing President Clinton to President Nixon, or they can be much older, such as King George III or Alexander the Great. You must use at least three criteria to evaluate your selected individuals. For example in evaluating Clinton and Nixon, three possible criteria could be their drug policies, their scandals, and their military actions. Remember that your criteria must be fair to apply to both individuals, even if they are not both equally successful at it.
You may not select fictional characters; as much as I’d love to read about who is a better team leader, Captain America or Superman+, please stay in the realm of real individuals for this assignment. Oh, and one more rule – please don’t use Hitler for this essay. I have read entirely too many Hitler essays over the years.
Try to support your discussion with examples and evidence when possible, and make sure to cite your sources. You do not have to say one person is absolutely perfect and the other person is total garbage, but you must reach a definite conclusion in your analysis – you cannot simply say “well they’re both pretty good” or otherwise ride the middle. This is not a narrative essay, so please refrain from using first person (“I” or “we”) in your writing.
those are the instructions ? I don’t really have a preference on the leaders but they need to fair. For example, I can’t choose a president who had no military army and another one who does and claim that he’e better because of that
