Students must research a disease or condition for context however, it should not be the sole focus. This is a paper about the condition AND patient communication with health literacy as the primary thesis. Please include in your paper the answer to at least 4 of questions below now counting No. 1.
Students must explain:
1. The disease itself
2. Its impact on communication (barriers that the disease/condition presents)
3. Any accommodations that must be made
4. Ethical and/or legal obligations associated with the disease/condition (consent, privacy, etc.)
5. Why the healthcare practitioner should be aware of these factors that affect communication
6. How the healthcare practitioner would deal with the situation (treatment modifications).
