Curriculum
Visibility / Equitable Representation: The curriculum features the work of experts, authors, and historical figures who hold identities that reflect the diversity of society. Materials feature characters and real-world figures who
are non-white, disabled, non-male, gender non-conforming, non-heterosexual, and from diverse family structures, economic classes, nationalities, religions, and ethnicities. Traditionally underrepresented identities are portrayed without stereotyping or treating them as foreign or exotic.
