I am hoping to get help writing my scholarship essay- I have attatched the instructions in this PDF below.
A little about myself that will be helpful when writing.
– I am a first-generation mexican-american
– I first traveled to Israel in May of 2022, then again in December of 2022 as a Fellow with a company called “Passages Israel”
– I am a Christian, it is a big part of who I am, going to the land of Israel changed me forever- I feel like now when I read my Bible its in color.
-It fits into me personal goals because for one I have always wanted to study abroad & to go to college but my parents as soon as I graduated high school told me if i wanted to continue my education I needed to ‘figure it out on my own”
-Israel is known for it’s innnovation, Studying there I believe will be an enriching experience, grow my faith, fulfill a part of my education dreams. (I am studying communications- I would be most excited to experience the culture, faith, etc)
-I think it is important to have these experiences so people like me can pave the way for my siblings, other people of color. Even though you might not have anyone’s support getting an education is possible.
-I am fully responsible for my education, i fund everything.
Anything that you think might be helpful you can keep/take away, just wanted to give some details on myself.
