eMedrec is a new software company that manufactures and sells a special chip that contains a person’s medical history and records. This chip is being sold to hospitals, health insurance companies and doctors and has been recognized as an emerging technology with a potentially significant market. Analysts have forecasted that within the next five years, the company will have projected sales of $300 million and 2,000 employees located in several corporate offices throughout the Northeast. First, perform an assessment of what you believe to be eMedrec’s more significant hazards and vulnerabilities.
Second, identify what you consider to be eMedrec’s critical business operations.
Lastly, establish recovery time objectives for these critical business operations along with a high- level critical recovery path.
