course up to this point.
Read the attached passage. Identify the argument made by the
author. Perform an analysis and evaluation utilizing any
relevant tools and concepts from the course up to this point.
Break down the argument into its constituent premises and
conclusion(s). Show the structure. Identify any argument
schemes. Identify any use of deductive, inductive, or
presumptive reasoning. Identify any fallacies or other weak
elements of reasoning. Anything that we’ve studied that is
relevant to achieving a deeper understanding of both what this
brief passage is arguing and how well it is being argued should
be included.
