Discussion question #1 of 2: Would you encourage more “consuming” activities for your students or engaging them more in “producing” activities? Define your students grade level (2nd grade) and your rationale of your choice (solar system) and make reference to textbook reading.

C. After you read both articles, please go to Wikipedia.org and search the term “wikipedia” and learn about what it has to say about itself.
D. After you read a, b, c, please discuss this question (#2 of 2): Should Wikipedia be used in your future classroom? [Make sure you make references to the text book, the readings and the search on Wikipedia in your post] – I’ve included chapter 6 below.
Respond to this question from the con side and explain why you should not use Wikipedia. Again, use examples and references to illustrate the points that you make.
