Writing Your Essay:***
• Write a four-paragraph, comparative essay (approx 750-1000 words) on your topic.
1. A well-developed general introduction (2+ sentences) with a strong, clear thesis statement based on your chosen topic and a signal map of your essay.
2. Two body paragraphs: Each body paragraph should have a topic and a summary sentence; each paragraph should also contain four pieces of evidence that link directly to your thesis (2 per text).

3. Quotations should be thoroughly integrated into the body of your essay according to the MLA style guide (ie, all quotes must be part of a (longer) sentence).
