2. Word count should be 300-350 words.
4. The annotation should be 4 paragraphs.

1. Summarize the main focus of the article, including topic break-down and any special features or details that are unique or helpful

1. Background information about the author, using in-text citations as needed, and a brief statement describing the author’s experience and/or credibility with regard to the topic
3. Paragraph #3
1. An evaluation of the source’s usefulness, comparison to other sources, and/or its relevance to your paper. This is where you can note biases and/or rhetorical features, as well.
4. Paragraph #4
1. How the article shapes or changes your thinking or understanding of your topic.
