What is the kind of pain and ache that the poet feels? in 30 words [daid you really mean 30 words or 300 words?]
Answer .. The poet feels a surge of empathy in her heart at the way her mother had suffered all her life under the weight of household chores, patriarchal domination, and stifling of her youthful spirit.

Why has the mother been compared to the late winters night?
    Answer in 30-40 words_cbse

    • Satya Prakash says:

The late winter night is the oldest, and the hardest to bear. It pushes us to total inactivity, and isolation. The poet’s mother at 66 had become frail, battling old age discomforts, aches, and weakness. This was the worst part of her life– insufferable like the late winter night. Hence, the comparision.
