  1. I think the date can come top above The Principal. There is no need of ‘To’. Left alignment is what I like. Is there no need for a coma after Yours obediently?

      Thank you Mrs. Maathew for your comments. All your suggestions are valid, if we follow the modern trend in writing letters. In traditional style (like in Wren & Martin), date comes in the right side. ‘To’ is not needed, and the comma after ‘.. obediently’ is needed. Thanking you again. Wish to look forward to more such critical comments.
